Journey乐队是美国史上最受欢迎的摇滚乐队之一，在1973年成立于美国的加利福尼亚州圣弗朗西斯科。这支乐队虽然已经经历过了很多阶段，但仍旧是20世纪70年代晚期到80年代早期最成功的商业乐队之一。在这一期间他们创作发行了一系列的很有力度的民谣以及摇滚歌曲。从成立起开始为哥伦比亚唱片公司灌制唱片。在巡回演出和录制专辑的过程中乐队成员几经变换。1987年，在为专辑促销的巡回演出结束之后，乐队解散了。主音歌手Steve Perry终日酗酒，并开始了毛病迭出的独唱生涯。键盘手Jonathan Cain与John Waite组建了Bad English乐队。1996年，在哥伦比亚唱片公司总裁的竭力推动下，乐队成员重新走到一起，出版了解体十年来的第一张专辑《Trial By Five》。现任主唱为菲律宾歌手Arnel Pineda。
